Roland Decorvet, our Chairman and Founder, recently visited a promising investment opportunity in Madagascar. The company he visited will diversify its cocoa-trading activities by locally processing cocoa beans into various value-added products.
Not only will this initiative create 28 direct jobs, but it will also significantly boost local farmers’ income and local economy by keeping the value-added processing in the country.
In the shared images, you can see the newly constructed cocoa bean processing factory, the first of in the region in over a century. The images also show the administrative building for the two cooperatives involving more than 1,500 farmers who benefit directly from this project.
