On Monday, August 26th, 2024, AlphaSeeds hosted an inspiring event titled “Africa to Grow Through Philanthropic Investments (in Agribusinesses)”. With over 30 participants, the event was a success and provided a great opportunity to explore the potential of philanthropic investments, particularly in building a sustainable African agribusiness sector.
The event would not have been possible without our incredible speakers:
– Mariana Dittmann, Managing Director of ForAfrika Switzerland, who shared ForAfrika‘s proven process for bringing communities from emergency situations to independence.
– Marie-Hélène Pingoud Brasey, Co-founder and Managing Director of RougeCongo, who presented RougeCongo‘s project and showcased AlphaSeeds’ innovative investment model.
– Stéphanie Abels, Executive Director of elea, who highlighted the role and importance of philanthropic investment and shared elea‘s model and experience.
– Luc-Etienne Dandrieu, General Manager of AlphaSeeds, who introduced the topic, presented AlphaSeeds, and moderated the panel discussion.
