Four years ago, AlphaSeeds was created with a clear ambition: to invest in African agribusinesses that strengthen food security, create jobs and regenerate ecosystems.
Today, as AlphaSeeds celebrates its fourth anniversary, we are pleased to publish our 2025 Annual Report and take a moment to reflect on the progress achieved together with our investees in the DRC, Tanzania and Senegal.
Over these first years, our investments have contributed to:
- 109 direct and more than 410 indirect jobs created
- 19,000+ smallholder farmers reached through training and workshops
- 73,000+ trees planted, revitalizing approximately 500 hectares of degraded land
- The continued development of RougeCongo, Guavay-Hakika and Beer Shéba Natural Foods
But impact is not only about numbers. At the heart of AlphaSeeds’ approach is supporting entrepreneurs in building strong, financially sustainable agribusinesses that create jobs, strengthen local food systems and regenerate ecosystems.
Our 2025 Annual Report looks back at the progress of our investees, the impact achieved so far, the lessons learned along the way and the evolution of our investment approach. It also presents our ambitions for 2026 as we prepare to support more impactful agribusinesses across Africa.
