Since our investment in Guavay Company Limited (Hakika Fertilizer) in October 2024, we’ve been thrilled to witness their dedication to transforming smallholder farming in Tanzania.
Recently, Guavay organized a training for 54 AMCOS leaders (Agriculture Marketing Cooperative Society), representing over 8,000 smallholder sugarcane farmers in the Kilombero-Morogoro region.
🌍 Key Focus of the Training:
✅ Educating farmers on proper fertilizer usage and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
✅ Enhancing productivity and soil health through sustainable methods.
✅ Promoting the long-term adoption of Hakika fertilizer, helping farmers increase their yields.
By equipping farmers with the right knowledge and tools, Guavay is not only improving agricultural productivity but also strengthening the foundation for a more sustainable and resilient farming ecosystem.
