The investee is linked to the food industry processing chain. Although the company may carry an agricultural, trading, and/or distribution activity, it must have processing components.
The selected companies must stand out for their positive impact on all their stakeholders by creating jobs and improving food security, nutrition, and environmental conditions.
AlphaSeeds invests from CHF 250,000 to 500,000 in equity and/or debt over 1 to 3 years. We bring capital and know-how, leveraging decades of experience in the food industry.
AlphaSeeds is currently focusing on two geographical clusters, West Africa and East Africa, especially in the following countries: Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.
AlphaSeeds is currently building a diverse pan-African company portfolio.
We have made one investment in DRC, one in Tanzania, and one in Senegal.
