🌱 Exploring Sustainability and Impact at Beer Shéba Senegal 🌍

Last week, the AlphaSeeds team had the privilege of visiting Beer Shéba in Senegal, a remarkable project showing that social and sustainable agribusiness is possible. In two decades, Eric Toumieux and his team have transformed a once arid land into a flourishing Christian agroecology center.

They produce and deliver diverse products like eggs, chicken, beef, pork, and nutritious plants such as Moringa and Artemisia. They are the first meat producer in Senegal to be organic certified. 🌿

🤝 Our visit to the farm revealed a profound social impact helped by agriculture. Beer Shéba successfully restored dry lands and built essential community facilities like a dispensary and a school. They also offer agroecology internships and feed over 300 people daily.

💡 At AlphaSeeds, we believe in investing in agriculture to transform lives and landscapes. Beer Shéba’s journey aligns perfectly with our mission to develop a sustainable and profitable African agribusiness sector.

📸 Here are some snapshots from our visit, capturing the essence of Beer Shéba’s impactful work.

Stay tuned as we continue to explore and support sustainable agribusiness initiatives across Africa. Your thoughts and comments are always welcome!
